Religious Education Registration 2021
St. Mary's, St. Helen's, & St. Thecla's
Religious Education Registration 2021
You should have recently received an email from Father Chris and Father Joe notifying you that St. Mary's in Hanover, St. Helen's in Norwell, and St. Thecla's in Pembroke will merge to form one parish on July 1, 2021. We write today to provide you with your Religious Education opportunities for the 2021 to 2022 school year as well as Summer Religious Education.
Option 1: Summer Religious Education
(Students entering grades 3, 4, and 5 only)
The Summer program will run for 8 consecutive days from Sunday, June 20 to Sunday, June 27. As a full year of material is covered in such a short time frame, by registering you must commit to attending the full 8 day program. All participants will attend 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Helen's in Norwell as a group on both Sundays. We thank you in advance for your adherence to these guidelines.
Due to the high demand of the summer program,
only registered parishioners of St. Mary's, St. Helen's and St. Thecla’s may participate.
We have a limited amount of space, so once registrations spots are full, a waitlist will be started. Those on the waitlist may be contacted right up until the day before class starts if we have space open up.
The online summer registration form can be found at the bottom of this email.

Grades 1 to 5
Classes will begin the last week of September and continue until April school vacation, with our schedule following the Hanover, Norwell, and Pembroke school calendars.
Grade 6 & 7 (Edge) and Grade 8 & 9 (ROC)
Edge and ROC (Rite of Confirmation) sessions will begin in October. Grade 6 & 7 (Edge) students go to class on the same days. Grade 8 ROC and Grade 9 ROC classes meet on different Sundays. The complete Edge and ROC schedule will be emailed to all those registered as well as posted online at LifeTeenSMASH.com in early September.
Those who will be entering Grade 10 in the fall will receive a separate email next week with registration information and details regarding Confirmation.
Parents have the option to homeschool their child in grades 1, 3, 4, and 5. Books are provided and the fee is the same. We do not offer home school for grade 2 or grades 6 through 9.
Please note that registrations submitted after September 10 will be charged a $25 per student late fee.
As always, if any religious education costs cause a hardship, they can be reduced or waived, as necessary. Please contact the Religious Education Office at (781) 826-2351 if you have any questions.
Please take a moment to reflect and pray about the importance that Religious Education plays in your child's life. We look forward to working with you children to help them better understand God's love for them.
